BYGONES V2 ARE COMING!
The Bygones V2 are undergoing final assembly, programming and testing, and will be hitting the post office early this week! All customers receiving Bygones in this batch of pedals will receive an email with a tracking number. We ship using USPS Priority in US and USPS International Priority for international customers. If you don't receive an email, don't worry - it will be coming! The next batch of pedals are on schedule for delivery near the end of December, and into January of 2022. All of these orders will be fulfilled with a V3, even if you ordered a V2.
WHAT'S WITH THE V3?
I've updated the Bygones V3 to include an additional noise option - static noise, and to support 'alternate' parameters for even more control. To adjust an alternate parameter, just hold the foot switch down while turning the appropriate knob. Note that the V3 requires a new lid that reflects the V3 options and knob/parameter assignments. The alternate parameters are in parentheses (see below).
HOW CAN I UPGRADE TO V3?!
Want to upgrade your V2 to a V3? Any Bygones V2 can be upgraded to a V3 since the V3 features are already IN the V2 firmware ... they just need to be enabled! UPGRADE TO V3 FIRMWARE: 1) Remove the plastic knobs. You may need a pliers to do this since they fit on tight. 2) Remove the foot switch retaining nut and washer. 3) Unscrew the V2 top lid and replace it with the V3 lid. 4) Put all that stuff back on :-) 5) With the Bygones powered off, hold down the foot switch. 6) Apply power and wait for the two LED's to flash indicating V2. If the left *three* LED's flash then your unit is already running V3. 7) Hold the foot switch down for 4 to 5 seconds and then release. 8) Upon releasing, the left three LED's will blink. 9) Re-power the unit (without holding down the foot switch) for normal V3 operation. ***I'll post an instructional video soon*** UPGRADE TO V3 LID: If you prefer the V3 features, and want to swap out your lid to the V3 version, I'm offering the lids at cost + shipping to folks who ordered the V2 before this enhancement was made.
